| No doubt you could use a cool g in your pocket, everyone could. The newest online community, MySEOCommunity.com announced their first guest blogging contest with a grand prize of $1,000 in cold hard cash and an assortment of other prizes. If you are interested in participating in this contest be sure to go back and read the official post to make sure you understand all the rules and details. Which are really quite simple, yet still important. Other guest blogging contests, such as the Bad Ass SEO Contest on SEM-Group.net, have had similar large cash prizes - bringing out the best in industry bloggers. Winners include Kristi Hines of Kikolani.com, and Jennifer Van Iderstyne of InternetMarketingNinjas.com. I even had a chance to win a bit of cash, placing in the top ten. The type of posts that usually win these contests require a lot of research and choosing a topic that can be expanded on quite in depth. How to Optimize 7 Popular Social Media Profiles for SEO takes a how-to post to the next level with instruction and screen shots, and was the winner in a recent guest blogging contest. So what are the rules? Pretty simple really, just write on a topic related to the industry for placement on the My SEO Community blog. Promote the post on your own blog as well as list and link to the sponsors in your post on the day your guest post goes live use this code it has the links and logos on it). The winner will be chosen for the best quality content. Tie breakers for the most popular post as judged by social links, traffic, comments, etc... Rules are similar to other guest blogging contests. Start researching now, the contest ends March 5th. You’ll want enough time to write and promote your guest post. Don’t forget about engaging on social media with those that share your post and responding to comments too. To help get the creative juices flowing, here are a few of the last couple contest submissions that performed well.
Submit your post today by registering here and don’t forget to sign up for Gravatar. Then when your post goes live use this code to append to your promotion post (the code has the sponsors links/logos). Good luck!
Disclosure; MySEO Comunity works with our SEO training sister site and two of thei members, Gerald and Kaila, write for SNC now and again. That being said, come on now... $1000? If I (Dave) could enter? On it like a link spammer 'round a dofollow blog! Sady, as a sponsor, I can't. <grumble mumble..> More articles by this author | |
