Washington Post Knows the Value of SEO Friendly
Written by David Harry

I was sitting here contemplating how far I would make it before collapsing into a pile of dust after a long few days... weeks... months (lost track really). Then a little something popped up on the radar, in this case from one of my many Google Alerts.

It seems that the fine folks over at the Washington Post were playing with some things, that seemingly got indexed when it probably shouldn't have. You can find it here, but in case it get's nuked by the time you're reading this, here's a screen shot;

Washington Post SEO Whoops

Of course it's not entirely newsworthy I suppose, but it is a great reminder that Google will index and return just about anything, so one needs to be a little more careful. And hey, if Google seemingly dislikes them SEO tactics, maybe ya don't want to advertise the fact it's something you test. Just sayin'.

Especially when yer getting syndicated/scraped a lot... have a look-see at this SERP. So popular it even got a News Universal (rofl).

Washington Post OOPs SERP

It also might help those spewing the gloom and doom of the death of SEO, the 'where are we headed' kind of attitudes that have prevailed in the wake of the Penguin, Panda and other notable Google updates.

SEO is alive and well. It's just about far more than mere links. If the larger sites/domains are still placing a value on it right down to the types of headings their using, the proclamations of it's demise may just be premature.

Anyway, it seemed a cute tidbit to pass along... I hope you had a bit of a giggle. Now to get some shut-eye. Laterz!

Looks like a result of a training session where someone was demonstrating the how-to's of writing article.

Pity the site is seemingly on a "high-crawl" list and this got indexed.

I've used pinterest to optimize my site and the result was amazing my site was jumped from #234 to #9 in few weeks time.

The trick is we must got our website pinned and repinned by many people this is the hardest part. Most of pinterest users won't doing repin when they aren't like what we pinned.

I do simple thing to outsource it on fiverr and got my site pinned by 75 people, I don't know how can he did it just search by typing pinterest on fiverr and you will find it on the TOP. Many other seller offer pinterest service on fiverr but in my experience they can't make my website increase in SEO. I don't know why.

As I know currently pinterest is best for SEO for these reason:
1. Once our website pinned it has 3 backlinks counts
2. Google interest in social media signal so it will not tagged as links farm
3. Currently pinterest links are dofollow even the image
4. Even not support anchor text (except the url link), it's still perfect for placing our keywords in description. Google will READ it!!
5. You need to ping the links of your pins to the to get your website increase in SEO
6. Obama The President and Mark Zuckerberg now pinning on Pinterest lol.
